A council officer who helped families in Doncaster left homeless by last summer's floods has been recognised in the Queen's Birthday Honours list.
Pat Hagan, Doncaster Council's neighbourhood manager, has been made an MBE for helping Toll Bar residents move into rest centres and caravans.
He said: "I feel like I've just been doing my job with my team, but I'm obviously really pleased and proud."
Toll Bar was one of the worst affected areas in the UK by floods last June.

"He's made a real difference to the local community who have had a really tough year made slightly easier thanks to Pat."
