A pasta factory in a Scunthorpe industrial estate will close at the end of May with the loss of 107 jobs.
Bakkavor Pasta had been through a 90-day consultation process to look at alternatives but will now close.
The firm said a fall in profits was blamed on the rising cost of raw products and a declining market.
A spokesperson said: "We are working closely with employees, focusing on finding them alternative roles at other sites or with other employers."
The factory said it had opened an on-site job shop advertising internal and external vacancies and was planning a recruitment event at the end of the month.
Other opportunities
In addition, Bakkavor is bringing in an employment firm to provide help with interview skills, CV writing and job searching.
Leader of North Lincolnshire council Mark Kirk said: "It is not good news at this moment in time, but we will be working on getting these people back in full time employment.
"There are opportunities such as the Can-Pack factory that will be creating 300 jobs.
"If you have got people from that type of industry they will have the expertise that will be of value to other companies, such as Can-Pack."
