Takeaway delivery driver attacked

A takeaway delivery driver was robbed by two men who smashed his car windscreen with a metal bar.

The 48-year-old was delivering to a house in Morland Road in Gleadless, Sheffield, when the attack happened.

Detectives said the robbers smashed his vehicle before forcing him to hand over property on 22 February.

He suffered facial cuts from the shards of glass and was taken to hospital. Witnesses are asked to contact South Yorkshire Police.
