Appeal to trace missing children
Jake and Bethany Haycock-Simpson
It is not known exactly how long the children have been missing
Police and social services are trying to trace two children who have gone missing from their Sheffield home.

Jake Haycock-Simpson, five, and his sister Bethany, four, were last seen by a family support worker at their home in Gleadless Road 10 days ago.

They are thought to be with their parents, Natalie Haycock and Paul Simpson, who police want to speak to.

Officers confirmed there were family court proceedings pending and social services are involved with the family.

A police spokeswoman said the Family Court in Sheffield had made an order requiring anyone with information about the children's whereabouts to contact police.

She said officers were "concerned for Bethany's and Jake's welfare".

It is not known exactly how long they have been missing.
