Two arrested over body flat find

A 32-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was found dead at a flat in Rotherham.

A 20-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of assault after the body was discovered at the property in Markfield Drive, Flanderwell, on 3 January.

Both suspects were being questioned in Rotherham on Friday, a spokesman for South Yorkshire Police said.

Post-mortem tests were still being carried out to determine how the 40-year-old man died.
