Toddler is 'critical' after crash
A two-year-old boy is in a critical condition in hospital after a car crash in Doncaster.

His mother was driving along the A635 Barnsley Road at Scawsby on Tuesday afternoon when her car hit the kerb and collided with a lamp post, police said.

The toddler suffered serious head and internal chest injuries in the collision and was taken to Sheffield's Children's Hospital.

His mother escaped with minor injuries. Police are appealing for witnesses.
