A 63-year-old man has fallen to his death after climbing a tree to examine a bird's nest in Doncaster.
Colin Watson from Selby had been walking with a friend in woods near Churchfield Road in Campsall when he decided to climb the 40ft larch tree.
He got about three quarters of the way to the nest at the top before he fell. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said it was thought he had been looking for bird eggs. His death is not being treated as suspicious.
