Sport facilities where people with disabilities can access the same equipment as able-bodied exercisers are being unveiled in South Yorkshire.
The gym at Handsworth Grange School in Sheffield was adapted as part of a national inclusive fitness initiative.
The idea behind the scheme is to ensure that everybody with disabilities has access to sports facilities within a reasonable distance of their home.
Sports Minister Richard Caborn will officially open the suite on Friday.
The Sheffield Central MP said facilities and support for able bodied people and those with physical or learning disabilities should become standard for every sports centre in the country.
"The opportunity to take part in sport is a right, not a privilege," he said.
