Delays after city tram derailment
Tram users in Sheffield faced delays on Tuesday after a derailment on the Supertram network.

A tram came off the line at the Woodburn Road stop, affecting services between Meadowhall and the city centre.

Although traffic has been able to pass the derailed tram some delays have been reported by Sheffield City Council. Nobody is thought to have been injured.

Trams on the line were running only between Nunnery Square and the city centre, and Meadowhall to the Arena.

People travelling into the area on Tuesday were being advised to leave longer for their journey.

The derailed tram was expected to be towed away from the Woodburn Road stop during the afternoon.
