Detectives probe fatal house fire
A man has died after a fire at a house in Sheffield which is now being investigated by detectives.

Emergency crews were called to Warwick Street, Crookesmoor early on Friday.

The man, who was 25 and born in China, was taken to hospital with burns but died five hours later. Four other people in the house were not injured.

Det Insp Colin Fisher said it was not known how the fire started and officers were speaking to a number of witnesses to the aftermath of the blaze.

He continued: "We are keeping an open mind about the cause of the fire at this stage.

"Scene of crime officers are at the the site and it may take some time to establish how the fire started."
