'Bone bank' manager denies theft
A hospital manager accused of stealing human bones and selling them to private clinics has appeared in court.

Christopher Ibbotson, 48, from Gristhorpe in North Yorkshire, denied 10 counts of theft from the Northern General Hospital in Sheffield.

A jury at Sheffield Crown Court heard how Ibbotson managed a stock of bones which were used in operations.

He is accused of selling hip, thigh and shin bones to clinics and keeping the money. The trial continues.
