Tony Capstick stayed close to his roots in Swinton and Mexborough

A memorial tribute to the singer song writer and comedian Tony Capstick has been unveiled in South Yorkshire.
The site on Rowms Lane in Swinton Bridge has been landscaped and a plaque and photograph installed at the re-named "Cappo's Corner".
The former BBC Radio Sheffield presenter, who died in 2003, grew up in Swinton Bridge, South Yorkshire.
His double-A-sided single 'Sheffield Grinder'/'Capstick Comes Home' reached number three in the spring of 1981.
Mr Capstick died aged 59 at his home in Hoober, near Wentworth, on 23 October, 2003.
He had been a regular presenter on BBC Radio Sheffield for more than 30 years and made various TV appearances in programmes such as Emmerdale, Coronation Street and Last Of the Summer Wine.
