Body found in search for walker

Police searching for a walker missing in the Peak District have found the body of a man.

Peter Henshaw, 43, from Lundwood in Barnsley, was last seen on Tuesday morning when he set out from Torside reservoir to walk to Edale.

Police officers joined mountain rescue teams in the hunt for Mr Henshaw, who suffers from Huntingdon's disease.

Derbyshire Police said the body, which was found on Bleaklow Moor on Saturday, has not been formally identified.

A spokesman said police inquiries were continuing and that Mr Henshaw's family were being kept fully informed of developments.
