Call for safer drinking in pubs
The dangers of 'binge drinking' in South Yorkshire are being explained to licensees as part of a crackdown.

Barnsley Council and the health authority is encouraging pubs and clubs to promote more responsible drinking.

It follows claims that a number of pubs in the town centre are making alcohol easy to buy through a number of 'buy one get one free' offers.

It is hoped it will make pubs think carefully about what they serve to customers.
