Fire causes building to collapse

More than 50 firefighters have been tackling a large fire at a fencing firm in Chilcompton, Somerset.

The fire broke out in a kiln which is used to dry timber. At the time there were four rail-mounted trolleys loaded with wood in the kiln.

Crews removed two of the trolleys before the building collapsed.

Station Commander Graham Brown said crews at the scene had "worked hard to stop the fire spreading to an adjacent building".
