Man, 23, in court over sex attack

A 23-year-old man from London has been charged in connection with a sex attack on a woman in Minehead.

Ioan Bucatariu, of Alnwick House, Park Lane, Haringey, was arrested in London on Friday and is due to appear before Taunton magistrates later.

Police were called to the Co-op store in Minehead in the early hours of 5 July after reports a 22-year-old woman had been assaulted in the car park.

Extra officers were drafted in to Minehead after the assault.
