Care manager acquitted of abuse

A night manager at a care home for young people in Somerset has been found not guilty of abusing one of the teenage girls in his care.

Andrew Caulfield, 43, from Minehead, had denied eight charges of sexual contact with the fifteen-year-old.

The girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, told police in an interview she thought Mr Caulfield loved her.

Mr Caulfield was acquitted of all charges by the jury at Taunton Crown Court.
