Back to nature for new play area

A 50,000 play area designed using landscaping alongside the traditional swings and play equipment has been officially opened in Frome, Somerset.

The play area at Egford Lane playing fields is for children from toddler age up to 14 years old.

Consultation was carried out with the charity Barnardo's to identify what features should appear in the park.

Children from Oakfield Middle and Trinity First Schools were also asked what they wanted to see in the park.
