Investigation into fire at flat

A fire which broke out in a ground floor flat in Radstock near Bath is being investigated.

Fire crews were called to the incident, at a three-storey building in Chapel Road in Clandown, on Friday night.

The property had been evacuated and firefighters using breathing apparatus, entered with high pressure hose-reels to bring the flames under control.

Thermal imaging cameras were used to check for "hotspots". Avon Fire Service said the cause was being investigated.
