Top 10 slot for budding designers

Student fashion designers from Somerset College in Taunton made the final 10 in the Clothes Show's Young Designer of the Year final in December.

Fashion textiles undergraduates Fabia Zanchi, Sophie Phillips, Carys Pitcher and Victoria Griffiths were all short-listed for the top award.

The competition showcases rising design talent in Britain's universities.

A college spokesman said: "These four undergraduates have beaten off thousands of other entries."
