Romanian group will visit town

A party of Romanians is visiting Chard to mark the twinning of Seica Mare with the Somerset town.

Children will be performing a traditional dance at St Mary's followed by a service.

The visit coincides with the inaugural Chard International Festival of Culture and Activity.

The Tour of Britain cycling extravaganza is also due to pass through the town on Tuesday, 9 September.
