Road resurfacing work under way

Work is due to get under way to resurface seven roads in the Bath and North East Somerset area.

The work will begin at the roundabout at the junction of Stockwood Lane and Stockwood Road in Whitchurch.

At this first section work will be carried out overnight beginning at 1900 BST and ending at 0600 BST on Sunday.

All homes next to the identified roads have been notified and drivers have been asked not to park there in order not to slow the work down.

Overnight resurfacing will also take place on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 September between 0700 and 2300 BST on the B3130 through Belluton Narrows at Pensford and on Monday 15 and Tuesday 16 September between 0930 and 1530 BST.

All other work will be carried out during daytime hours.

The remaining sites are: the northern section of Woollard Lane, and a section of Norton Lane and Maesknoll Lane, Whitchurch; a small section of Church Road in Norton Malreward; a section of Park Road and the whole of Kelston Road, Keynsham.
