Boy charged over taxi office fire

Burned out cab hut
It is alleged that a petrol canister was set alight in the wooden office

A 15-year-old boy is due to appear before Bath Youth Court later charged with arson with intent to endanger life after an incident at a taxi firm.

He was arrested on Sunday following a fire at an office in the city's South Parade on 16 August.

It is alleged that a canister of petrol was deliberately set alight inside the company's wooden premises.

A 19-year-old man arrested earlier has appeared at Bristol Crown Court charged with the same offence as the boy.

He is due to appear again for a plea and case management hearing on 15 December.
