A charity which helps children with brain injuries is appealing for help to raise £5m.
The Somerset-based British Institute for Brain Injured Children (BIBIC) provides assistance for many families.
But it says with more money it could treat five times as many youngsters and provide a refuge for their parents.
Tony Hadley - formally of Spandau Ballet - helped launch the public appeal on Tuesday and has also promised to stage a fundraising concert.
The charity has its base at Bridgwater.
