Man is held in city murder probe

A 22-year-old man was arrested in south London on suspicion of murder in connection with a death in Bath.

Police were called to Ringswell Gardens, Bath, on Sunday after Ben Foster, 22, from the city, was found lying in the road.

Five people - three women and two men - initially held as part of the investigation have since been released on police bail.

A 21-year-old man remains in custody on suspicion of murder.

Post-mortem tests revealed Mr Foster died from a suspected stab wound.

Police also issued an image of a vehicle which they said may be connected to the death.

Det Ch Insp Mike Carter said: "This image could prove to be vital in our investigation.

"We want to speak to anyone who knows who could be associated to the Peugeot 106 and more importantly anyone who saw it driving around the city on Sunday evening."

More than 40 officers are working on the murder investigation.
