Beach party music acts announced

Fans at T4 beach party
The music event attracts thousands of fans to the resort

The Hoosiers, Scouting for Girls and Lightspeed Champion are among the first acts to be announced for the 2008 T4 beach party at Weston-super-Mare.

The event, which attracts thousands of music fans, is being held on 20 July. Tickets go on sale this Friday.

Robyn and The Feeling are also on the bill and other acts will be announced in forthcoming months, organisers said.

Presenter Steve Jones said: "This is the sixth year (of T4) and is one of my favourite days out of the summer."
