Suspicious cat deaths are probed

The RSPCA is investigating a series of suspicious deaths among cats on a housing estate in Bridgwater.

At least six have died in the last two weeks. The agency is looking into suspicions that they have been deliberately poisoned with anti-freeze.

Cat owners are being advised to keep their pets indoors.

Jo Daniel, from the RSPCA, said: "It's hard to think what would make someone want to kill cats. But it is happening."
