Man attacked near football club
A man needed hospital treatment for cuts to the head, arms and wrists after a fight outside a football club on Saturday night, police have said.

The 19-year-old was attacked outside Backwell FC near Weston-super-Mare.

Two youths, aged 19 and 17, have been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning grievous bodily harm and given police bail.

Detectives, who said there were a number of people in the area at the time, have appealed for witnesses.
