White paint covers Banksy mural
White paint has been daubed over the Banksy artwork
The original art appears on Banksy's website
A painting suspected to be by Bristol guerrilla artist Banksy has been daubed over with white paint.

The work, showing a policeman stopping and searching a young girl, appeared in Somerset during the week leading up to the Glastonbury Festival in June.

Someone has covered the work with white emulsion paint. Although the piece did not carry Banksy's tag, it does appear on his website.

The work appeared on an outbuilding alongside where festival-goers queued.
