Fact sheet for dyslexia diagnosis
A free dyslexia fact sheet has been created to help parents diagnose the condition in their children.

Dr Peter Gardner, who is an expert on the condition, wrote the information sheet for people in Somerset.

It offers advice to parents of young children who may have the condition, which can be identified by problems with reading, writing and spelling.

It is believed that one in 10 children have some form of dyslexia. Dr Gardner said it could appear at an early age.

"Symptoms can now be recognised at four and a half," said Dr Gardner.
