A Somerset hospice which works with cancer patients and other people living with life-threatening illnesses is set to benefit from mobile phone recycling.
People from Wells and the surrounding area can now drop off unwanted mobiles at Wells Tyre Service at Webbs Close on West Street.
The business has agreed to be a collection point for St Margaret's Somerset Hospice.
Each phone donated will be sold on to raise funds for the hospice's work.
Sue Medlicott, from St Margaret's Somerset Hospice, said: "Wells Tyre Services has offered a specially designed recycling bin in its reception area at its retail premises and anyone can call in there and drop off their old mobile.
"When their on-road team is called out to a home or a business to help an individual or a company, (members) will also be able to collect any unwanted mobile phones that can be recycled."
