Police start own Glastonbury site
The Pyramid stage at Glastonbury
Babyshambles and The Chemical Brothers will play the 2007 festival
Avon and Somerset Police have launched their own Glastonbury Festival website aiming to keep the experience peaceful and free from anti-social behaviour.

Official figures from the event show crime has decreased by almost 90% in the past five years.

The website offers information on how to keep your tent and beer safe and what the festival's drugs policy is.

There is also an animation featuring Tent Thief Tony who is foiled by a giant man-eating worm.

Over the next six weeks the site will also feature podcasts and videos to download about how best to get to the festival, pictures of the festival as it progresses and blogs from police staff on site.

The Arctic Monkeys, The Chemical Brothers, Babyshambles, Damien Rice and Dame Shirley Bassey are among the acts confirmed for Glastonbury 2007, which takes place from 22-24 June at Worthy Farm.
