Public meeting over development
People in Watchet are being given an opportunity to have a say over the proposed commercial development of the East Wharf area.

A meeting has been arranged for Monday evening for people to voice opinions.

West Somerset Council signed a development agreement for the regeneration of the area in 2006.

The agreement details how the council will work with Urban Splash. The meeting is in the Methodist church Hall at 1900 BST.

Speaking last year, a council spokesperson said the proposal would create "a vibrant, economic environment which is really positive for Watchet's future prosperity".
