Man in custody over Butlins death

Sealed off areas of the camp have re-opened

A man remains in police custody following the discovery of a fatally injured woman at Butlins holiday camp in Minehead, Somerset.

The 26-year-old from south Wales was arrested on suspicion of murder in the early hours of Saturday after the 19-year-old woman died.

Parts of the resort that had been sealed off to allow for forensic examinations have now re-opened.

A post-mortem examination has not yet taken place.
