Course aims for two-wheel-safety
Somerset Road Safety Partnership has launched a series of Bike Safe Courses, in Taunton, aiming to make the roads safer for motor cyclists.

Statistics just released show 21 motor cyclists were killed in the Avon and Somerset police area in 2006.

More than half were between the ages of 35 and 55.

A spokesman said: "The handling characteristics of today's bikes are somewhat different from those we rode when we were younger."
