£350m development scheme unveiled
Southgate development
The development is expected to be finished by 2010
Developers of a major £350m regeneration scheme in Bath have unveiled their vision for the site.

The Southgate development will see 58 shops, eight cafes, bars and restaurants and an underground car park with over 780 spaces built.

It is estimated that almost 1,000 permanent jobs will be created when the scheme is finished in 2010.

The developers Multi Development say the site will fit in with Bath's character as they will use Bath stone.
