A scheme to restore a grade I listed building in Bath has scooped an architectural award.
The Cross Bath building topped the Restoration of a Georgian Building in an Urban Setting category in the 2006 Georgian Group Architectural Awards.
It is one of five buildings restored as part of the Spa project and is now part of the Thermae Bath Spa, which opened in August.
The restoration was led by architects Donald Insall Associates.
The work included a new canopy and interior design which takes its inspiration from the city's Pump Room.
Councillor Nicole O'Flaherty said: "This award is certainly well deserved.
"The Cross Bath's beauty and sacred importance has been extremely well preserved throughout the centuries, making it a very important Bath landmark."
The Cross Bath is also designated a Sacred Site by the Alliance of Religions and Conservation.
