Future of seaside town discussed
A blueprint for the future development of Weston-super-Mare between 2011 and 2026 is open for public scrutiny.

It focuses on the town centre, seafront and land around the former airfield and the former RAF Locking site.

The Weston Area Action Plan (WAAP) also looks at regeneration issues to ensure the town expands in a sustainable way.

A series of exhibitions is planned around the seaside town and the draft vision is open to informal consultation until 31 October.

Public feedback will be used to create preferred options or opinions documents which will be subject to a formal consultation in 2007
