Hospital bans smoking in vehicles
Smokers visiting a hospital are to be banned from lighting up - even if they stay in their cars.

The habit is already outlawed inside Bath's Royal United Hospital but from 1 November the ban will include the grounds.

The rules will extend to car parks, meaning people will not even be allowed to smoke in cars.

Health chiefs said the decision was made in response to national policy and was in line with other NHS trusts.
