A young Somerset man has died while on holiday with his family in Ibiza.
William Hall, 22, from Taunton, was first taken to hospital on the island on Monday with a severe nose bleed and discharged later the same day.
He was then readmitted on Tuesday to the same hospital after his condition deteriorated and he later died.
A Foreign Office spokesperson was unable to confirm whether Mr Hall was involved in a fight in Ibiza town on Saturday and the exact cause of death.
Shocked and saddened
Mr Hall was a former pupil at Queen's College school in Taunton.
Headmaster Chris Alcock said: "William is remembered at Queen's as a quiet, hard-working and considerate boy - characteristics that make the news of his death all the more shocking.
"Everyone here who knew William is shocked and saddened by this awful event. Our thoughts and prayers are very much with his family at this sad time."
