Two held over 'cannabis factory'

Two people have been arrested on suspicion of growing cannabis with intent to supply after police found a suspected drug factory.

Three officers from Avon and Somerset Police noticed the plant's distinctive smell outside a Bridgwater house.

Inside, the officers found growing equipment and seized a kilo of suspected cannabis with an estimated street value of £5,000.

A man, 45, and a 47-year-old woman have been bailed until later this month.
