Lloyd Fouracre
Lloyd died from head injuries after an attack in Taunton last year
Family and friends of a teenager who died after an attack in Taunton have handed a petition in to 10 Downing Street calling for more police patrols.

Lloyd Fouracre, 17, died from head injuries following the incident last September. Three teenagers have been charged in connection with his death.

Lloyd's brother Adam has been campaigning for better street safety.

He has gathered a 23,000-name petition calling for more patrols during weekend evenings to combat street violence.

He visited Number 10 on Thursday and discussed his concerns with the Home Office minister Paul Goggins.

Andrew Betty, 18, and Jay Wall and Ross MacCormack, both 19, have been charged with murder and violent disorder. Their cases are proceeding.

Psychiatric assessments are being made over Mr Betty.
