Woman is attacked after night out
A woman has allegedly been seriously sexually assaulted by a man she met in a Yeovil nightclub, police say.

The 16-year-old left the Lounge club on Tabernacle Lane and was seen talking to him outside a coffee shop at The Borough, before heading to Penn Hill.

While they were at Penn Hill, at about 0300 BST on 7 May, the man is alleged to have carried out the assault.

He is described as white, aged about 18, 5ft 9ins, with a broad-build and brown, medium-length hair.

He was wearing a dark-coloured short-sleeve shirt and jeans.

The man then walked her back to a rank of telephone kiosks on Middle Street, near the Wetherspoons pub, before leaving her.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have seen either person at any stage of the evening.
