New anti-chewing gum drive begins
A council is stepping up its campaign against people dropping used chewing gum on pavements.

Extra street cleaning and more litter bins are to be introduced across the Bath & North East Somerset area.

The council will carry out clean-up operations in Bath, Keynsham, Midsomer Norton and Radstock.

"One of our priorities is to improve the public realm and one of the most important aspects of this is to clean up the streets," a spokeswoman said.
