A policeman has admitted having sex with a 14-year-old girl over a period of almost two years.
Kevin Hicks, 37, pleaded guilty to having unlawful sex and indecently assaulting a girl under 16 years old.
Hicks, of East Huntspill, near Highbridge in Somerset, was suspended from the police in February.
Judge Julian Lambert, sitting at Bristol Crown Court, told Hicks: "You are in a whole world of trouble and every sentencing option is available."
The Pc admitted the sex offences between 1 April 2002, and 7 February 2004.
He admitted three charges of having unlawful sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old girl and one charge of indecently assaulting the same girl between
the ages of 14 and 15.
Judge Lambert remanded Hicks in custody and adjourned sentencing for reports at a date yet to be fixed.
