Autumn opening for spa project
Bath Spa Project
The row over the paint has cost an extra £3 million
The much-delayed Bath Spa Project could be set for an autumn opening.

Organisers behind the development, which should have been completed in September 2002, say they are confident any final hurdles can be overcome.

A row over peeling paint in the pools at the multi-million pound centre has been behind most of the delay.

A Bath & North East Somerset Council spokeswoman said: "The project is on target in terms of time - everything is going well."
