Labourer charged for hunt protest
A farm labourer from Somerset arrested during the pro-hunt demonstration in London has been charged by police.

Brett Parsons, 31, from Sticklynch, Glastonbury, faces allegations of using threatening behaviour and obstructing the highway.

Mr Parsons was among 17 people arrested during Wednesday's protest in Parliament Square. He will appear before magistrates on 29 September.

The others arrested have been released without charge, freed on bail or fined.

A total of 27 people - 24 protesters and three police officers - were injured when the pro-hunting protests outside the Houses of Parliament became violent.
