Pedestrian dies after collision

A man has died after he was involved in a collision with a car.

Ian Leslie Bryant was crossing Badminton Road in Coalpit Heath on Sunday 12 September when he was hit by a Vauxhall Corsa.

Mr Bryant, 39, who lived in the South Gloucestershire village, was taken to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol for treatment but died two days later.

Avon and Somerset Police have appealed for anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
