Yeovil players score Top 40 hit
Third division football club Yeovil Town have scored a Top 40 hit with their first single.

Yeovil True reached number 36 in the official chart on Sunday evening.

The single was recorded to celebrate the team's FA Cup third round tie with Liverpool - Yeovil lost the match but won the battle for record sales.

Manager Gary Johnson said: "We are the first ever third division club to achieve such an honour and I am delighted for everybody."

Speaking to chart show host Wes, he added: "It started off as a bit of fun, but people started buying the CD and it got more serious."

"It is unbelievable - I am very happy. This is a fantastic feat."

Yeovil Town, who were promoted to the Football League at the end of last season, are currently in sixth position in Division Three.
