Football club hit by fire
The Fire Brigade at the scene
The cause of the blaze is not known
Offices at Yeovil Town Football Club in Somerset have been badly damaged by fire.

The blaze happened a day before tickets were due to go on sale for the side's third round FA cup match against Liverpool.

Fire crews were called to Huish Park just after 0230 GMT on Wednesday.

The offices are believed to have contained computer equipment, plus the personal records of the players.

George Coggan, chairman of the supporters' club, told the BBC: "They were temporary buildings and it is time now to look at something more permanent.

"It is a disaster coming at this time, as we roll towards the big Liverpool game."

The club has relocated its ticket office to the first floor of the main stand following the blaze.

Tickets for the FA Cup tie with Liverpool are still expected to be sold to season ticket holders on Thursday.

Additional staff have been brought in to deal with the aftermath of the blaze, which is under investigation.

CCTV tapes are being studied.
